The Story Behind #HOPEINS

It started with a simple bracelet. It became a mission to fund answers.

While navigating Carson’s journey at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., his older brother visited the hospital’s healing garden. Finding a bracelet-making station, he decided to create something special for his little brother. When he finished, the letters left behind spelled out a unique, unplanned word:
